Is Augusta National still a MacKenzie Course?

Feb. 5, 2005 – Complete with vintage historical photographs of Augusta National Golf Club as it was when it opened, historian Stan Byrdy has written one of golf's most important books. The Augusta National Golf Club: Alister MacKenzie's Masterpiece, will be available in March 2005, a month before The Masters.

This coffee table book celebrates one of the game's most revered courses by documenting its original routing and design, and chronicling the many changes that have been undertaken over the past 70 years. It also gives a unique history of the grounds, its founder Bobby Jones, and The Masters itself.
