Charleston, S.C. (February 3, 2005) – The Golf Headquarters retail association will release a new consumer golf catalog in 2005. The catalog will be published twice in 2005 with the premier issue scheduled for a March release.
The catalog will enable consumers to order golf equipment and accessories via telephone
or through the Golf Headquarters e-commerce web site. All 189 Golf Headquarters
stores, through a unique system implemented and managed by the corporate office, will
fulfill all orders.
In addition to golf products, apparel and accessories found in most golf retail catalogs, the Golf Headquarters catalog will also incorporate snippets of editorial content similar to golf consumer magazine’s. The catalog will be a unique formula of products and complimentary editorial content to educate and inform the golf consumer.
“This catalog will support our 189 member stores and offer a variety of golf products for sale while promoting the Golf Headquarters brand,” said Scott Austin, Executive Director of Golf Headquarters. “The addition of editorial content will also extend the shelf life of our catalog making it a useful and constant resource of products and golf related information.”
The catalog’s circulation is comprised of 750,000 Golf Headquarters customers derived from the 189 member stores databases. In addition, another 100,000 will be distributed through the individual stores for a total of 850,000 distributed. The premier issue of the Golf Headquarters Catalog will be distributed in March 2005 and a second issue will be released in November 2005 and as a Holiday edition.
