Nike Golf claims top honors

Feb. 2, 2005 – Tiger Woods and Frank The Talking Headcover proved to be a popular team in 2004, taking home both television commercial categories in the 12th Annual ING Industry Honors for 2004. The winners in a dozen categories were announced in a press conference presentation Saturday, Jan. 29 at the International Network Of Golf Hospitality Room, 309-A, at the PGA Merchandise Show.

Steve Sands of The Golf Channel was the emcee. Golfpac Travel and Sudden D'Eath Putters were the co-sponsors, and PGA Golf Exhibitions and EMI were presenting sponsors. TaylorMade's r7 Quad Driver and Balance-Certified's Weighting System were the winners in the Product Ingenuity categories. All winners are listed below.

The International Network Of Golf is a 15-year-old, media-based, non-profit networking association. Its mission is to enhance and promote communication and education in golf.

The ING Spring Conference, set for May 22-26 at the World Golf Village, consists of product displays, appointment shows, marketing and media workshops, golf tournaments and more.
