Carol Couch, Ph.D., director of the Georgia Environmental Protection Division, has issued an administrative order easing water restrictions for golf courses in the 55 counties currently under the level IV drought. This order will allow courses in these counties to water their facilities following EPD mandated guidelines. The Georgia GCSA has worked with the governor, Couch and the staff at the state’s EPD to bring relief for golf courses and other businesses.
