Father's Day at Pelican Hill Golf Club comes with an
additional bonus: the final round of the U.S. Open will fall on
Father's Day and, after a fantastic round of golf, there will be no
better place to watch all of the excitement unfold on two panels of
plasma TVs with nine screens each with a host of other dads while
enjoying a delicious meal than at Pelican Hill. It doesn't get any
better than this on Father's Day.

The Father's Day Menu offers a choice of salads for the first course:
Warm Spinach Salad with bacon vinaigrette, feta cheese, candied
walnuts, shaved red onion and roasted beets; Prawn Cocktail with
tomato horseradish sauce; or White Asparagus and Heirloom Tomato
Salad with Argan oil and aged balsamic. The three entrée selections
are: 14oz "Montana Legend" Rib Eye with mashed potatoes, sautéed
asparagus and sage demi reduction; Pan-Seared Alaskan Halibut with
basmati rice pilaf, glazed peas and carrots and mandarin mustard
sauce; or Roasted "Organic Free Range" Chicken Breast with mushroom
risotto and sun dried tomato and basil buerre blanc. Dessert choices
are German Chocolate Cake with coconut gelato or Berry Cobbler with
vanilla gelato. The generous and balanced wine list features mostly
California selections and more than 30 wines by the glass. Pelican
Grill is known for its specialty cocktails such as the Pelican
Cosmopolitan (Rain 'Organic' Vodka, Pama Liqueur, Cointreau, cranberry
juice, lime) and Raspberry Mojito (Bacardi Raspberry Rum, Raspberries,
Lime Juice, Fresh Mint Leaves). Alcoholic beverages are not included.

With a strategic perch overlooking the courses and the
Pacific Ocean, the 44,000-square-foot clubhouse is among the most
dramatic at any golf course. The ultra-luxurious structure features
separate men's and women's locker rooms and lounges with a full array
of appointments and amenities; Pelican Grill restaurant and bar; Caffé
II espresso bar; and a golf shop offering the latest golf fashions and
accessories. From the clubhouse, golfers reach the first tees by
driving their golf carts over the stunning and iconic entrance to the
resort: a classically designed bridge that appears as if it could span
the Arno River in Florence.

Southern California: stunning views; a delectable menu that echoes the
culinary abundance and diversity of the California lifestyle by
focusing on fresh local ingredients prepared with passion and
simplicity, allowing natural flavors to take the stage; a warmly
elegant design with high ceilings and large, arched windows; an
