Superintendent-Pro Tournament slated for TPC San Francisco

HAYWARD, Calif. -- The Northern California Superintendent-Professional Tournament is slated for Monday, June 16, 2008 at TPC San Francisco Bay at Stonebrae in Hayward, Calif. The two-person team event will pair a golf course superintendent with a golf professional partner from the same club. Prior to teeing off on the exquisite David McLay Kidd-designed course, players will attend a presentation conducted by motivational speaker and leadership expert Scott Black, Founder and CEO of Empower U International.

“We are looking forward to having Mr. Black as our featured speaker,” states GCSANC President Brian Nettz, CGCS. “I understand he has the unique ability to fire-up a crowd, encouraging others to tap their highest potential both personally and professionally.”

The Superintendent-Professional Tournament is held annually at a premier course in Northern California and the newly opened TPC San Francisco Bay at Stonebrae meets the exceptional venue standard. “While the bay area views are spectacular from the ridgeline at Stonebrae,” exclaimed Host Superintendent Dave Davies, CGCS, “players who keep their eyes and thoughts focused on the course will fair best. I’m confident this strategically-designed tract will test the talent of every player.”

This GCSANC event is augmented by the participation of the NCPGA and through the generous sponsorship support of E-Z-GO, a Textron Company.
