Amica Autograph Avenue at Bank of America Championship

CONCORD, Mass. -- Golf fans will appreciate the opportunity to meet the legends of golf in the new Amica Insurance Autograph Avenue at the 2008 Bank of America Championship, June 17-22, at Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord. The Bank of America Championship is the longest running 54-hole event on the PGA TOUR's Champions Tour and the only Champions Tour tournament played in New England. More than 50 of golf's top players have already committed to competing at Nashawtuc, including Jay Haas, the tournament's 2007 champion, and the list of top pros will continue to expand until the 78-player field is complete.

"Sports fans love to get the autographs of their favorite athletes," said tournament director Tracy West. "That is especially true at the Bank of America Championship! This year, tournament partner Amica Insurance is giving fans a place to secure autographs away from crowds, roads and cart paths, where players are easily accessible. The Amica Insurance Autograph Avenue is located behind Nashawtuc Country Club's clubhouse, a short distance from the eighteenth green where the players walk to access the locker room after their round."

"Amica Insurance is proud to partner with the Bank of America Championship. It's a good business decision and it's also heartfelt," said Vince Burks, senior assistant vice president at Amica Insurance. "Golf enthusiasts are a great market for us; they appreciate a quality product and Amica's nationally recognized customer service. It also feels good to know that monies provided will go to many deserving charities in Massachusetts and throughout New England."

The Amica Insurance Autograph Avenue is among a number of daily features planned for the twenty-eighth annual Bank of America Championship. Others include the Tastes of the Tour Pavilion, the Champions Tour Golf Clinic and the Family Fun Zone.
