WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- As the LPGA season heats up with Lorena Ochoa burning up the competition, can she come back to Trump International Golf Club and become the first player to win back-to-back $1 million first place prize? Fans can watch this story unfold live at the 2008 ADT Championship, November 18-23, at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach. Tickets to the season-ending championship will be available starting Thursday, May 1 on the ADT Championship Web site – www.adtchampionship.com -- or by calling 888-LPGA-TIX (574-2849).
Patrons who buy their tickets early are eligible to receive free parking and merchandise discounts with some of the advance ticket packages in addition to having the opportunity to purchase a ticket to a special luncheon on September 22 with defending Champion Ochoa and other stars of the LPGA.
For the first time, a limited quantity of single day Million Dollar Club Passes will be available. These passes admit the patron to the grill room in Trump International’s exclusive clubhouse where they will have access to complimentary food and beverage. In addition, Million Dollar Club Pass holder will have admittance to special seating around the golf course.
The Trump Terrace Club Pass will once again be available to patrons who want access to the exclusive Trump International’s clubhouse and main dinning room where they can enjoy an expanded gourmet pay as you go menu. Trump Terrace Club Pass holders will have access to the clubhouse patio, dedicated private restroom facilities and preferred seating around the golf course, including the 18th green.
Both the Trump Terrace and Million Dollar Club are open Thursday, November 20 through Sunday, November 23. Group and corporate hospitality packages are also available by calling the ADT Championship office at (561) 656-4400.
The daily Championship Grounds Pass is also available, with the best value being the Weekly Championship Grounds Pass that grants access Tuesday, November 18 through Sunday, November 23. All patrons will have access to the Front Row Experience where LPGA Professionals will be offering 10-minute lessons onsite during Championship week on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. In addition, all children fifteen and under receiving free grounds admission when accompanied by a ticketed adult.

For the second year in a row, the ADT Championship will be offering collectible tickets with innovative graphics from I6 Technologies Inc. For an additional $5, patrons will have the opportunity to choose from a list of top LPGA player photos to be included on the back. This unique ticket will allow access to exclusive viewing and autograph areas. The addition of the player trading card on the back of the ticket is sure to make these ADT Championship tickets a unique souvenir to save for many years. As added bonus to these specialized tickets, a random number of these tickets will be autographed.
The 2008 ADT Championship features a $1,550,000 purse with the winner taking home a $1 million paycheck, the largest first-place prize in the history of women’s golf. The ADT Championship will also feature three days of playoffs with a cut after 36 holes. Players start with a fresh scorecard for the third round, which ends with another cut to the top eight players. A live draw will take place with the final eight players immediately following the third round, where players will draft their own tee time based on their third-round finish. A final-day shoot-out with the remaining players will have them, again, starting with a fresh scorecard for their chance at the $1 million winner’s check.
The LPGA Playoffs 2008, a yearlong competitive structure that splits the official LPGA season into two halves, culminates at the ADT Championship, Nov. 20-23, at Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Fla. Fifteen players from each half qualify for the ADT Championship, and two additional wildcards will be determined following the Lorena Ochoa Invitational Presented by Banamex and Corona.
Out of the 32 spots in the ADT Championship, 13 will be awarded to winners of Winner Events, which are defined as official LPGA Tour events with a purse of at least $2 million. The remaining spots in each half will be awarded using a performance-based points system–ADT Points – to determine ADT Championship qualifiers who are not otherwise qualified.
