Maria Hjorth signs 2-year sponsorship agreement with Röhnisch

Röhnisch and Maria Hjorth deepen their relationship with a 2-year sponsorship deal including a special clothing collection. Röhnisch hopes that this investment will contribute to continuous strong growth within their Golf Division. Maria Hjorth is aiming for the Top 10 in the World Rankings, after her 4th place finish as this year’s first Major, Nabisco Championship, she is almost there.

Maria Hjorth has signed a 2-year contract with Röhnisch that is based on her LPGA ranking at the end of the year and is worth between 25000-50000 Euros.

“I have chosen to work with Röhnisch because of their first-class designs in their clothing along with the high quality that the entire company displays. To be a part of Röhnisch’s new “top of the line” collection really excites me”, says Maria Hjorth. The Röhnisch ‘Pioneer Golf collection’ is to be launched spring of 2009.

For Röhnisch, this sponsorship is a part of their investment in the company’s Golf Division; which has grown 30 percent per year for the last three years. Both the range and the distribution of the golf collection have significantly increased, the Golf Division now contributes to 25 % of the Röhnischs yearly turnover.

Röhnisch and Maria Hjorth started their cooperation 4 years ago. Maria aims to be one of the top 10 in the World. A goal that is within reach – she is currently ranked 15th and moving up.
