Q-Link scoring high in retail market

ORLANDO, FL. – Jan. 26, 2005 – With Q-Link, the product's Q Score a standard for measuring familiarity and appeal of such things as companies and brand names -- is reaching higher levels than it ever has before.

Q-Link is riding a wave of momentum started by a strong increase in its business and maximized by the recent launch of the first product extension in the company's history.

Over the last year, Q-Link, which is owned by Clarus Products International, of San Francisco, Ca., has added more than 150 new retail distributors. With the introduction of the New Q-Link Pendant, the company is hoping to double that this year. The strengthening of its national sales force, with new reps now in Missouri, Illinois and Texas, will also help the efforts to increase business. During the PGA event, Clarus will offer a show special where retailers can buy six New Q-Links and get one free, a $129 retail value.

Q-Link is already widely received within the golf industry. It is currently sold by many of large golf retailers, including Roger Dunn Golf Shops, GolfMart and Vans, all of World Wide Golf, as well as Edwin Watts, Haggin Oaks, Pro Golf Discount, Golf USA and many more.

The addition of the newest Q-Link pendant, a sleek, white dual-tone design that contains the latest advancements in biofield science and enhancements to SRT 3 TM, the technology at the heart of the Q-Link, should spark a further sales boost.

"The Q-Link pendant is designed to reduce the harmful effects of stress, and retailers selling it should be able to rest easy that they're carrying a sure fire winner in their golf shops," says John Allan, National Sales Director for Q-Link. "Our business is growing rapidly and the product is catching on quickly with golfers across the country."

Q-Link is making its mark everywhere. It¹s currently worn by more than 300 PGA, LPGA and Champions Tour players, including Charles Howell III, Jesper Parnevik, Tim Petrovik, Bruce Fleisher, Carin Koch and Rosie Jones. Other champion athletes and leading celebrities also wear the Q-Link to help them increase their energy and enhance mental performance, especially under stress.

Away from the athletic field, Q-Link is also the pendant of preference for retailers, who have experienced substantial sales success and are more than pleased with the generous profit margins.

"I now know why the Q-Link pendant has been associated with 70 tour wins," says Lee Hart, Manager, Edwin Watts Golf. "After wearing the Q-Link I have experienced a calming sensation, less frustration during the day, and an increase in my focus and concentration -- all traits that would benefit a Tour player. Most of my staff at Edwin Watts is now wearing a Q-Link pendant and we have sold over 100 in four months!"

"Buying products for a high-end membership, as well as a 5 star resort, always proves to be challenging. The Q-Link has become a favorite even among our most skeptical members and has been one of the most successful products with our resort guests," says Margie Vaughan, a buyer for La Paloma CC, a Troon Golf Management Property. "The Q-Link enabled us to maintain consistent sales figures during a time when golf sales were at their lowest levels in years."

Q-Link's full line of pendants will be available during the PGA Show at Booth 11142. In addition to the New Q-Link Pendant, which retails for $129, other products in the line include the Q-Link Classic Pendant, which has a diamond-shaped black acrylic casing that is durable and waterproof ($129); the Q-Link Silver Pendant, featuring a classically-designed sterling silver round case in both a brushed and polished finish ($299); and the Q-Link 14K Gold Pendant, featuring a solid gold round case that's also available in brushed and polished finish ($839).
