Horseshoe Bay Resort announces Unlimited Golf Getaway deal

HORSESHOE BAY, Texas -- Horseshoe Bay Resort is offering an “Unlimited Golf Getaway,” featuring unlimited tee times on any of the resort’s three Robert Trent Jones, Sr. golf courses.* Now through May 22, 2008, starting at $218** per person, per night at The Waters at Horseshoe Bay Resort, golf enthusiasts can take advantage of shared carts, driving range access, club cleaning and storage, and shuttle service to and from the greens and daily breakfast at the Lantana Grill. Rates start at $194 per person, per night from May 23 through September 4.

Duffers can hit the links on any of the resort’s three championship Robert Trent Jones, Sr. golf courses:

* Slick Rock: Built in 1971 and spanning approximately 170 acres, this course provides more than 33,700 feet of golf frontage property. With bentgrass greens, multiple tees on every hole, more than 71 sand traps and 12 water hazards, Slick Rock embodies the Robert Trent Jones, Sr. philosophy of “hard par, easy bogey.”

* Ram Rock: Constructed in 1981, this course has been nicknamed the "Challenger.” Narrow fairways and rolling Crenshaw bentgrass greens are surrounded by 62 deep bunkers, 10 water hazards and natural dry creeks on six holes. With its dramatic elevation changes, Ram Rock offers enough length and difficulty to challenge scratch players in any group.

* Apple Rock: Horseshoe Bay Resort’s third championship Robert Trent Jones, Sr. course, was completed in 1986 and received distinction as “Best New Resort Course” by Golf Digest. Widely known as one of the most scenic courses in the state, these spectacular greens span 147 acres of the rolling Texas Hill Country along the shores of Lake LBJ.

The Waters at Horseshoe Bay Resort are lakefront condominiums ranging from one to three bedrooms, all including private balconies.

To ensure golfers have a bevy of activities to keep them busy when off the greens, all visitors receive temporary membership at Horseshoe Bay Resort granting access to resort facilities.
