My fellow bloggers have picked everyone from Brandt Snedeker to K.J. Choi to Justin Rose at this year’s Masters.

My own darkhorse pick, Miguel Angel Jimenez, isn’t looking stellar after a first round 77, but I still have one hope: crappy weather.

If the weekend turns as bad as predicted, with rain beginning this afternoon and storms tomorrow, followed by a raw, windy Sunday, anyone who makes the cut will have a shot.

Even Jimenez, as long as he puts up a low number today.

Speaking of today, if the rain does move in late, the afternoon tee times, including Tiger Woods, might have trouble finishing.

Then it becomes a matter of patience and endurance. Tiger’s got the second, but I’m not so sure about the first. He’s also shown that his one weakness is coming from behind in stroke play, so if things play out as I think they will, even the Anointed One might have trouble scratching his way to the top, no matter how big his claws.

And if Tiger’s not at or very near the top come the end of today, then it really is anyone’s championship.
