Belding meets the needs of cart bag enthusiasts

OXNARD, CA – Jan. 21, 2005 – The Belding Golf Bag Company continues to broaden and strengthen its product line with the addition of two new cart bags that will be unveiled at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fl. from Jan. 27-30 at the Orange County Convention Center.

Belding, which has been America's Finest Golf Bag Company since 1972, is introducing the Passage and the Porter. Both have outstanding properties guaranteed to meet the wants and needs of cart bag enthusiasts everywhere.

"The Passage and the Porter have a wide variety of features that will delight golfers who prefer a cart bag," says Jackie Perrin, Vice President of Belding Golf Bags. "They are solidly constructed and carry the brand quality that has been associated with our products and our company for years."

The Passage and Porter, as construed by the similarities of their names, share common features in their construction. Both bags have 9.5-inch tops, are 35 inches high and come with three full-length divisions.

Both bags have striking, sleek lines and are golfer friendly but that's where the similarities end. The Passage distinguishes itself with eight zippered pockets, including four separate large and ample apparel pockets. There is also a plush-lined valuables pouch for glasses, watches, keys and other items. An easy access upper pocket with mesh tee pocket and a dual-zippered, fully expandable ball pocket completes the pocket package.

The Passage also sports a six-way top divider with a separate putter access. The Passage can be enhanced with a custom logo on either the ball or upper pocket. An oversized strap channel keeps the bag secure. The Passage comes in black/charcoal, navy/navy twill, black/taupe combination of dobby and nail head. The MSRP is $139.

The sleek-bodied Porter boasts its merits through its own package of features. This well-appointed bag features nine pockets, starting with four side apparel pockets. A fur-lined pouch holds all types of valuables. There are also upper and lower ball pockets with dual sliders, and three handy mesh pouches for tees. Two fitted pockets flank the ball pocket for storing extra gear.

The Porter has a seven-way swoop top divider with separate putter access. Extras include dual handles and a cart friendly strap channel. Available in taupe/black, navy/navy twill and black, the Porter can be logoed on upper and ball pockets. The MSRP is $109. Standard features on both bags include shoulder strap, rain/travel hood, umbrella holder and towel rings.
