SAINT AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The eighth annual Murray Bros. Caddyshack Charity Golf Tournament returns to the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida April 3-4, 2008 to raise money for the St. Vincent’s Foundation Mobile Health Outreach. The tournament will be played on the Slammer & Squire and King & Bear courses.
Joining actor-comedian Bill Murray and his five brothers this year are Darius Rucker of Hootie and the Blowfish, Aaron Lewis - lead singer of Staind, singer/songwriter Edwin McCain, Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew, former Chicago Bears players Richard Dent and Jim McMahon, Bruce McGill, actor (Animal House, Legend of Bagger Vance), Bobby and Peter Farrelly (wrote Something About Mary, Fever Pitch), and many other celebrity friends.
Event highlights include a pre-tournament party in which players have a chance to bid for a celebrity teammate and also bid on a variety of auction items and the post-tournament awards party with surprise performances by celebrity entertainers.
