While I hope everyone's having a Happy Easter (or, for the non-Christians a "Happy Sunday"), I just thought I'd pop in with a quick Tiger Woods update.

And no, this doesn't have much to do with what Tiger's up to at the WGC-CA Championship at Doral, aside from the fact that he's three shots off the lead, giving headline writers around the globe the opportunity to use the phrase "Tiger Lurking."

Now, as a golf blogger here at WorldGolf.com, I'm not exactly sure what my real powers are, so I'm not sure if this actually becomes law, but it might. No one's explained to me how much power I have over the golf world (I'd assume it would be a lot). That said, however, I hereby make a declaration that I expect to be followed:

No one is ever allowed to write the phrase "Tiger Lurking" unless an actual tiger is involved. Seriously, it's out of control and has been that way since Day One. I just can't take another 20 years of "Tiger Lurking" in golf headlines.

Anyone who defies this ban will have to answer to me, and punishment will be swift and severe. I would imagine.

Easter (or, Sunday) is a time of new beginnings. Let's use this one to start afresh and find some new verbs when writing about Tiger Woods near the lead in a golf tournament.
