Custom home sites now available at the Club at Strawberry Creek

KENOSHA, Wisconsin – Jan. 20, 2005 – Developers of the Club at Strawberry Creek have officially kicked off sales of 62 residential estate lots located adjacent to the community's private, 18-hole championship golf course.

Priced from $139,900 to $189,900, the Estates at Strawberry Creek are a quarter acre in size, are located between the first and fifth tees, and are within walking distance of the main clubhouse. They are the only custom home sites situated on the golf course.

"We are pleased to be able to offer these outstanding estate lots, which are located on the interior of the golf course, to discriminating buyers who understand the quality and value of this kind of opportunity," said Barry Shiffman, who is spearheading the club and residential development along with partners Ed Edelberg and Jay Hilgenberg, former All-Pro center for the 1985 Super Bowl champion Chicago Bears.

"Now is the perfect time to pick a lot and to begin the process of designing and building a dream home," said Shiffman, who added that he anticipates the properties' prices will be increasing in mid-February. Reservations already have been taken for six lots, Shiffman said.

The Estates at Strawberry Creek consists of standard home sites, lookouts and walkouts. Buyers are invited to choose their own architects and builders, Shiffman said. The community's website - www.strawberrycreekclub.com - features information on zoning ordinances and declarations governing the architectural styles that will be characteristic of the neighborhood. Membership in the Club of Strawberry Creek is available.

The Strawberry Creek golf course community also will include approximately 600 single family and town homes built by Neumann Homes, as well as 264 luxury apartments by another builder.

The Club at Strawberry Creek is a 385-acre residential community located within the city limits of Kenosha just north of Highway 50 and west of Interstate 94. The focal point of the project is a spectacular 18-hole championship golf course designed by Chicago-area golf course architect Rick Jacobson.
