Dot Wong: Butch Harmon dumps John Daly

Swing coach Butch Harmon has ended his short-lived professional relationship with two-time major winner John Daly, citing issues related to Daly's ongoing drinking. Harmon, formerly Tiger Woods' coach, said he has worked three times with Daly but that ultimately Daly isn't committed to golf …

"My whole goal for him was he's got to show me golf is the most important thing in his life," Harmon told reporters from Las Vegas. "And the most important thing in his life is getting drunk."

The decision came after Harmon heard of Daly's behavior at the PODS Championship, where the golfer reportedly spent a lengthy rain delay in a Hooters corporate tent.
