Golf Pride number one grip played at '08 PODS Championship

LAURINBURG, N.C. -- Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation announced today that according to the authoritative 2008 Darrell Survey results, the majority of golfers who played in the 2008 PGA Tour PODS Championship relied on Golf Pride grips.

Golf Pride grips were used by 84 percent of all professionals who played in the tournament held at Innisbrook Resort-Copperhead in Palm Harbor, Fla. on March 6 - 9. In fact, 30 of the top 35 finishers used Golf Pride grips to play their best.

“This week on Tour, 121 players in a field of 144 golfers used Golf Pride grips on the majority of clubs in their bag; more than six times the nearest competitor,” said Jeff Fiorini, general manager for Eaton’s Golf Grip Division. “These statistics clearly demonstrate that Golf Pride is the number one choice in grips among Tour players.”
