In this week's podcast, host Dave Berner talks to Darrin Helfrick, golf general manager at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa, about a new package that will get you close to the PGA Tour action when the resort hosts the World Golf Championships – CA Championship 2008 later this month.

"It's a golf package we've created over our PGA Tour event," Helfrick says. "It includes a room, breakfast each day, and a round of golf on two of the courses we have open during tournament week. It also includes tickets to the event."

PGA instructor Chuck Evans gives a few tips on conquering the mental game of golf.

"I've seen a number of players that could be on the PGA Tour today because they have good stroke mechanics, they know how to score, but they're absolutely brain dead," Evans says. "Which means they don't know how to think on the golf course."

Frank Thomas, former technical director of the USGA, talks about his new book, Just Hit It.

"Basically, what we're interested in is letting people understand why they play the game of golf and also how equipment works, and how to select your equipment," he says.
