Former FBI Agent to lead Ensemble's 4th Annual Golf Tourney

HOUSTON, Texas - As the 28th Season opens for The Ensemble Theatre, some of their dandy duffers will take part in the Fourth Annual Golf Tournament.

Don Clark, former Agent in Charge of the Houston FBI office, will lead the event assisted by Ensemble board members Vernon Landers, Sharon Murphy, and Brenda Peters.

The tourney will have a scramble format. Prizes will be awarded for the Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin. Following the tournament will be a silent auction, dinner and awards presentation.

This fundraising event will benefit the Ensemble Theatre's Young Performers Program. I will help fund summer workshops, youth oriented plays, tours of Houston area schools etc.

Founded in 1976 by the late George Hawkins, Ensemble has brought several generations of African-Americans and other theatre patrons into the performance art form.

Wildcat Golf Club is the place to be on Wednesday, September 22

Registration takes place at 11:00 a.m. with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start.
