Jan. 19, 2005 – Concord Golf Club is one of Sydney's oldest and leading golf clubs. On March 21st 2005, it will be hosting the 2005 Concord Trainee Pro Am Golf Tournament.

This tournament was introduced in 1999 to celebrate Concord Golf Club's Centenary year. It has been a great success providing our young pro golfers (men and women) of the future with over $35,000 in prize money. As this tournament is the richest for trainee pros in the state, the trainees that come to play are the best in New South Wales so there is a long waiting list for entries.

Charity has also been a great winner in this event with over $35,000 raised. The event has raised money for The Muscular Dystrophy Association, The Children’s Hospital, The Epilepsy Association, The Exodus Foundation and The Children’s Home, Ashfield. This year the charity will be the intensive care unit at The Randwick Children’s Hospital.
