Crospete declares new Chromax Neutron Golf Balls a success

BUENA PARK, Calif. -- Crospete Sports, Inc., a manufacturing and distribution leader since 1984, announced that the company’s official worldwide launch of the 2008 Chromax Neutron Golf Ball Collection is a success.

Crospete Sports launched the new metallic series of golf balls at both the Advertising Specialty Show and the PGA Merchandise Show in January. According to Crospete Sports President Scott Kim, the colorful collection was successfully received at both trade shows. The Chromax Neutron Golf Ball with its unique appearance and performance characteristics crossover nicely to both markets.

As an ASI golf ball promotional product, the Chromax Golf Ball Collection can be color coordinated to match a corporate logo or identity. A silver metallic Chromax Golf Ball sample created a stir. It was prominently displayed at the ASI Show with the Coors logo on it. A creative tubular packaging resembling the silver bullet completed presentation and produced similar orders. Another show favorite was the gold metallic finish; it complements most high end entities such as the Wynn Casino in Las Vegas.

At the PGA Show, the Chromax Golf Ball Collection was showcased in a large bubblegum machine that highlighted its many colors and finishes. It caught the attention of many buyers who were looking for a fashion inspired golf ball but still demanded high performance and the Chromax Golf Balls have both.

The Chromax M1 colored ball is designed for distance while the Chromax M2 is designed for spin. USGA testing of the Chromax Golf Balls proved that the collection compared extremely well to the leading brands of golf balls.

The new 2008 Chromax Golf Ball features an exceptionally large core. It measures at 1.52” in diameter, the largest in golf history and is manufactured with a polybutadiene rubber compound blend that is perfectly centered to ensure maximum energy return. The urethane cover is manufactured with a proprietary 432 dimple pattern designed for exceptional aerodynamic performance. Its inherent cold temperature flexibility, high spin rate, and outstanding feel, make this USGA approved alternative golf perform to the highest standard yet captivating to the eye.

The Chromax Golf Ball is offered in six dazzling metallic finishes; silver, pink, gold, orange, blue and green. Spring orders of the Chromax Golf Ball began prior to the 2008 PGA Merchandise Show. Manufactures suggested retail of the Chromax Golf Ball is $19.95.

“Both shows we deem a success. Not only did they provide the company additional exposure and orders for the Chromax Golf Ball Collection but we expanded our international and domestic retail list,” said Kim.

Crospete Sports was initially established as an OEM producer in 1984. Over the past twenty-three years the company has garnered an astute reputation as a manufacturer known for its timely deliveries, quality control, and value conscious pricing. As the business model evolved, the company incorporated a distribution division which services the Korean market. They represent exclusive American companies such as Eye Line Golf, and The Sizemore Collection. Their extensive knowledge in the golf market eventually guided them to produce their own branded and distinctive line of golf products which emphasize quality and value.
