Heavy Putter seizes win at Enjoy Jakarta Astro Indonesian Open

The winner of the Enjoy Jakarta Astro Indonesian Open used a Heavy Putter B1-M model to register a final-round, two-under-par 68 and his first European PGA TOUR/Asian TOUR victory.

After trailing by one shot on the 18th tee, the champion relied on his Heavy Putter to drain a dramatic birdie putt on the final hole to win by one stroke. Over the course of the tournament, he carded 20 birdies and one eagle, earning an impressive scoring average of 65.5 strokes per round. His amazing GIR of 1.696 is just 0.029 shy of the European Tour No. 1 position for GIR average for the 2008 season.

He joins a legion of professional golfers experiencing remarkable improvement after switching to the Heavy Putter. Troy Matteson won the PGA TOUR's Fry's.com Open and has recorded many Top-10 finishes, and the Heavy Putter was used in victories on two European Challenge Tour events, the Canadian Tour's MTS Classic and the Nationwide TOUR’s Henrico County Open.
