SK Fiber captures win at Long Drive Association season opener

MADISON, Ala. -- SK Fiber, designer and worldwide distributor of total performance golf club shafts for drivers, irons, fairway metals and hybrids, again is the driving force behind many of the top Long Drive competitors.

The SK FIBER Lite Revolution I scored another win when the reigning senior long drive world champion, Frank Miller defeated Gerry James 358 yards – 343 yards in the match-play finals of Long Drive Association’s season-opener “2008 Desert Launch”. Miller, who resides in Covina, Calif., pocketed $5,000 for his second LDA Tour title. Ironically, he had outgunned James at the 2007 Texas Shootout in Dallas for his first career win and has been using the SK FIBER Lite Revolution I golf shaft ever sense.

The Lite Revolution is a lightweight, low to mid torque shaft designed with a reinforced tip section that is made to endure aggressive swing speeds.

Congratulations Frank and thanks for choosing SK FIBER performance golf club shafts.

To achieve this level of performance, our shafts are roll-wrapped exclusively with premium aerospace-grade, unidirectional high tonnage carbon fiber and epoxy prepreg tape. SK FIBER shafts are manufactured under the most stringent and exacting quality control measures in the golf shaft industry. Each step in the production of SK FIBER shafts is carefully monitored and incorporates our proprietary “Pressure Plus System” process, which results in a shaft so consistent that we guarantee a frequency of +/- one cycle per minute (CPM). SK FIBER shafts are considered by many of the world’s best clubmakers and players to be the most consistent in the industry.

The golf shaft is an important part of any golf club. Selecting the right shaft can give more distance and straighter golf shots. If you have the wrong shafts in your clubs, no matter how hard you work, your golf game will still suffer.
