INDIANAPOLIS -- Up until now it’s only been professional golfers who could experience the exhilaration of playing on tour and competing for big prizes. But now SIAGA, the new international amateur golf association, has teamed with Warrior Custom Golf to create the first-ever golf tour of this scope for amateurs.
SIAGA, the Super International Amateur Golf Association, will be comprised of amateur golfers throughout North America (and eventually worldwide) who’ll compete for prestige and prizes on the Warrior Custom Golf Amateur Tour in SIAGA tournaments to be held at local, area, regional, national and international levels.
“This is a chance for all amateur golfers to feel the same exhilaration and excitement as the pros regardless of their handicap,” says Kirk Makl, founder of SIAGA. “This brings recreational golf to a whole new level.”
All tournaments are based on the USGA and RCGA handicap system so everyone has an equal chance of winning.
Only SIAGA members will be allowed to compete. Membership is $185, and that includes all competition green fees, cart fees and banquets. New SIAGA members receive a Warrior custom-built 385CC Titanium “driver” valued at $200.
In addition, all visitors to www.SIAGA.org will receive a Warrior custom-built mallet putter, valued at $150, just for checking out the Web site and learning about SIAGA.
The Warrior Custom Golf Amateur Tour begins in April.
