Trahan and Kaymer capture victories playing Titleist Pro V1 balls

FAIRHAVEN, Mass. -- They took different paths to victory,
yet D.J. Trahan and Martin Kaymer shared a common trust: Titleist Pro V1
golf balls.

Trahan rallied from four shots back to capture the Bob Hope Chrysler
Classic for his second career PGA Tour title, while Kaymer led wire-to-wire
en route to his first career win at the Abu Dhabi Golf Championship.
Kaymer also became the first player to win with the new Titleist ZM Forged
irons. The performances marked a great start for Trahan, a breakthrough
win for Kaymer and another championship Sunday for Titleist.

TITLEIST HIGHLIGHTS FOR WEEK ENDING JANUARY 20, 2008

PGA TOUR: D.J. Trahan fired a final round 7-under 65 to charge from four
shots back and win the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic by three strokes over the
fourth round leader. Trahan birdied the final hole to finish the 90-hole
tournament at 26-under 334. Pro V1x golf ball loyalist Kenny Perry, the
1995 champion, shot a final round 69 to tie for third at 338.

In addition to the Pro V1, the champion relied upon the Titleist 905R (8.5)
driver, 906F4 (13.5) 3-wood, Vokey Design Spin Milled sand (60) and lob
(64) wedges and a Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Tour putter for his success.

Trahan finished T13 in Driving Distance with an average of 301.6 yards per
drive, and led the field in putting, averaging 26 putts per round.

Trahan's 7-under 65 matched the lowest final round of the day with Titleist
ambassador Chez Reavie, who finished in a tie for 5th. Reavie plays the
Pro V1x golf ball, as well as a Titleist 907 driver, 906 fairway metal, the
new ZM Forged irons, Vokey Design Spin Milled sand and lob wedges and a
Scotty Cameron GSS putter.

Titleist was the most played golf ball at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic
with 84 (66%) players, nearly five times the nearest competitor with 17.

In addition to being the golf ball of choice, Titleist was the most played
wedge (105) and putter (46) brand. It was a close second in drivers (31)
and iron sets (26), including the new AP1 (Billy Mayfair), AP2 (Ben Crane,
Bill Haas, Jon Mills, Mark O'Meara) and ZM Forged (Chez Reavie).

PGA EUROPEAN TOUR: Titleist's newest brand ambassador Martin Kaymer earned
his first career PGA European Tour title when he captured the Abu Dhabi
Golf Championship in wire-to-wire fashion.

The 23-year old, who was the 2007 European Tour Rookie of the Year, posted
a 15-under par 273 total and a winning margin of four shots over two
players ranked among the Top 20 in the Official World Golf Rankings,
including Pro V1x player Lee Westwood. Kaymer became the youngest German
winner in European Tour history and advanced to No. 34 in the World
Rankings.

Titleist was the most played golf ball at the Abu Dhabi Championship with
73 players relying on the Pro V1 or Pro V1x, more than four times the
nearest competitor with 18.

In addition to relying upon the Pro V1 golf ball, Kaymer became the first
player to win with the new Titleist ZM Forged irons, one of four new
Titleist iron models that will be available beginning March 15.

success.

CHAMPIONS TOUR: Titleist was the most played golf ball at the season-opening
MasterCard Championship with 29 (71%) players among the limited field,
nearly six times the nearest competitor with 5. Allen Doyle (Pro V1) was
runner-up by two shots, followed by Titleist ambassador Jay Haas (Pro V1)
and Bernhard Langer (Pro V1), who tied for third at 17-under, as three
Titleist golf ball players were among the top four finishers.
