SOUTHLAKE, Texas -- HorsePower Sports Marketing (HSM), the sanctioning body orchestrating the HorsePower Tee Shot Tour (HTST), announced its 2008 event schedule today. The HTST is a series of six Power Golf events featuring NASCAR personalities teaming with eight of the most prolific drivers of the golf ball in the world. These events will be held during Sprint Cup race weeks and will be broadcast on SPEED TV in the summer and fall of 2008.

The 2008 HorsePower Tee Shot Tour schedule is as follows:
May 15th, 8 PM: Cabarrus Country Club, Concord, North Carolina
June 12th, 8 PM: The Grand Golf Club, Jackson, Michigan
July 9th, 8 PM: Joliet Country Club. Joliet, Illinois
August 7th, 8 PM: Corning Country Club, Corning, New York
September 18th, 8PM: Maple Dale Country Club, Dover, Delaware
October 7th, 8 PM: Cabarrus Country Club, Concord, North Carolina

John Mamoudis, HSM’s President, had these comments on the upcoming schedule. “This schedule was built with the convenience of the NASCAR players in mind. These facilities on the schedule are located within just a few miles of each race track and will only be a 10-15 minute drive from the racer’s motor homes located in the track infield. Our goal is for our personalities to have a great golf experience and not feel any inconvenience from their on track activities. I believe we have accomplished this with our schedule. We also would like to thank the representatives with each host club for their support. Without them this undertaking would be impossible. Our hopes are to provide a high energy Power Golf exhibition for their members and guests.”
