Cleveland Golf congratulates Austin and MacKellar on victories

On the PGA TOUR...at the 2007 Merrill Lynch Shootout...Congratulations to Cleveland staffer Woody Austin, who became just the seventh player to win the event in his first attempt. Austin and his teammate closed out Sunday's round with a 9-under 63 to finish with a 29-under 187 total and a single shot margin of victory at the tournament. Austin carried a Launcher Comp (8.5), Launcher Steel fairway wood, CG1 irons (3-9), a 588 PW (47), a 588 DSG SW (56) and a 588 LW (60) in his bag.

On the Hooter's Tour...at the Stonegate Golf Club Cypress Course Winter Event...Cleveland Golf developmental staff player Bryant MacKellar used a Hibore XLS driver and XLS 3 wood, along with an entire arsenal of Cleveland products, to finish the event with a 16-under 200 total and a two stroke margin of victory.
