OAKVILLE, Ontario, Canada -- The Royal Canadian Golf Association (RCGA) is pleased to announce a public sale conducted by the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame and Museum. Just in time for the holiday season, the Hall of Fame is providing a unique opportunity to purchase exclusive museum-quality collectibles. All funds raised will directly support the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame and Museum.
From December 9 – 16, interested shoppers can purchase items by visiting the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame – located on the grounds of Glen Abbey Golf Club, site of the 2008 and 2009 RBC Canadian Opens. Also for a limited time, a few collectibles will be available to view online at www.cghf.org with purchase instructions. Although the sale items are museum quality, no official artifacts or donated items will be for sale.
“This initiative is a unique way to support the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame and Museum while getting festive with golf enthusiasts on your holiday list,” said Karen Hewson Director, Canadian Golf Hall of Fame and Museum. “Starting at only five dollars, there are many fine items to purchase at great prices. Only on for a limited time, we encourage the golf community to visit us on-site at the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame or online.”
Some of the exclusive collectibles on display include posters and panels featuring golf legend Jack Nicklaus. Custom-made plaques and prints of several Canadian Golf Hall of Fame inductees including Sandra Post, Marlene Stewart Streit, Gary Cowan, and Al Balding will also be available for purchase.
