WEST POINT, Miss. -- Shrouded in mystery for nearly 50 years, Ben Hogan’s secret has finally been revealed in / The Final Missing Piece of Ben Hogan’s Secret Puzzle ,/ a new book that helps you play better golf and learn the truth about his legendary swing.
/The Final Missing Piece of Ben Hogan’s Secret Puzzle /discloses and explains the secret that helped make the legendary Texan one of the greatest ball-strikers in the history of the game.
And it has the analysis, never-before-seen color action photos of Hogan, and even the mathematics to prove it.
Along with important historical perspective, /The Final Missing Piece of Ben Hogan’s Secret Puzzle/ explores the legend of “Hogan’s secret” and the intricacies of the Hawk’s swing that have remained mysteries for more than half a century.
Through intense research, authors V.J. Trolio and Dave Hamilton have determined the secrets of Hogan’s unique swing that allowed a small man with damaged legs to hit a golf ball vast distances with amazing precision and win six major championships after a devastating automobile accident.
With compelling stories, new pictures of Hogan in action, and attractive graphics and drills, Trolio and Hamilton reveal the mysterious elements of Hogan’s swing that can help golfers of all abilities to hit the ball with increased power, accuracy, and consistency.
/The Final Missing Piece/ also answers many of the questions surrounding Hogan’s landmark book, /Five Lessons/, the teachings of which have helped but also confused thousands of readers.
While remaining easy to understand for most everyone, /The Final Missing Piece/ goes further than most any golf book today in proving its case with physics, geometry, and biomechanics.
“The complicated formulas are included for those folks who want to see the proof, but you can skip those chapters and still learn all you need to put the /missing piece/ to work in your own golf game,” says Trolio.
The book is the creation of the same golf professional and engineering team that created the patented Putting Arc , the most popular putting training device on the PGA Tour. (In 2007, known users of the Putting Arc recorded 128 professional wins globally and won more than $169 million in official PGA Tour money.)
There’s something in this book for everyone, whether you are a fan of Hogan, a golf professional searching for the elusive facts about the legend’s swing, or a golfer looking to hit the ball longer and straighter.
