La Jolla Club Golf Company introduces new line of OS irons

VISTA, CA – Jan. 5, 2005 – La Jolla Club Golf Company has announced that it has introduced its new OS (Oversize) Irons. The OS Irons are available to ship immediately.

“Our OS Irons are perfect for golfers who need a club that’s extremely forgiving,” says Paul Herber, President, La Jolla Club Golf Company. “The shaft innovations and head designs incorporated into these clubs make them incredibly easy to hit.”

The La Jolla Club OS Irons were designed to provide maximum forgiveness, higher ball flight and better control. The new irons feature a wide sole design, placing as much weight below the ball as possible. The low center of gravity and lightweight steel or graphite shafts create a high launch angle to make shots go higher and further. These offset irons also feature a classic profile with a clean topline, which is unique for most game improvement clubs.

The irons are available in a set including 3-9 irons and a pitching wedge. A 2-iron, sand wedge and gap wedge are also available individually. Shaft options include steel or graphite in L, R and S flexes. The MSRP for the eight-club set is $299 for steel shafts and $349 for graphite shafts. The MSRP is $34.99 each for the 2-iron, sand wedge and gap wedge with steel shafts and $42.99 each for graphite shafts.
