DeLaCruz Golf’s Cruzer aces test

VISTA, Calif. - DeLaCruz Golf’s Cruzer fairway woods have received top billing by GolfTest USA. In independent consumer testing, in the categories of both 0-12 Handicap and 12 & Above Handicap, Cruzer fairway woods earned an overall rating of 8.4. As the highest-rated clubs in each category, Cruzer fairway woods have been designated as part of the “Elite” group. To earn this designation a club must show during the testing process that it is of superior quality, performance and value.

GolfTest USA is an independent informational, review, testing and rating source of golf-related products and services for consumers. A new and revised scoring system was established this month.

“We are pleased that DeLaCruz Cruzer fairway woods are being recognized for their exceptional qualities and performance,” said Mark Schlosser, vice president of sales and marketing and chief operating office for DeLaCruz Golf. “Players of every ability level can benefit from our clubs, designed by Dick De La Cruz, whose talent, ingenuity and experience comprise a design skill unique in the industry.”

DeLaCruz Golf recently updated its Web site (www.delacruzgolf.com) to reflect the company’s new product lines, advanced design characteristics and customer programs.

The site’s new features include a full product line description, instruction tips by well-known author and instructor Marshall Smith, testimonials, monthly contests and promotions. Interactive elements of the site allow visitors to request more information and offer feedback. In addition, the site now includes the capability for golfers to order clubs online directly from DeLaCruz Golf. Or golfers may order clubs by calling DeLaCruz Golf toll free at 877-430-4653.

“Our newly-enhanced Web site is the best way for golfers to familiarize themselves with DeLaCruz Golf, our exciting line of golf clubs, our history and our state-of-the-art technology,” Schlosser said.

DeLaCruz Golf clubs are designed and created on site, and emphasize performance, distance and forgiveness through the use of revolutionary materials and weighting concepts. The new Mag Cruzer, a driver cast from magnesium, is specifically weighted to control ball flight and curtail the occurrence of slices and hooks.

The Mag Cruzer is the first mass-produced driver constructed from magnesium. In addition to the Cruzer family of products, DeLaCruz Golf offers the CP putter series, combining a milled titanium body and Wolfram 90 face insert; the Bolero putter series, featuring Wolfram 90 heel and toe inserts in a cast, stainless-steel head; and a trio of Tour-quality, high-performance wedges.

Veteran club designer Dick De La Cruz formed DeLaCruz Golf in 2002. De La Cruz has been instrumental in designing successful and innovative golf equipment that has created club technology breakthroughs numerous times in the golf industry over the last 28 years.
