Hope Classic to benefit Multiple Sclerosis

Jan 4, 2004 – The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is sponsoring the Hope Classic Golf Tournament scheduled for February 28, 2005. Play Silver Lakes Golf Course, the beautiful Robert Trent Jones course in Glencoe, Alabama, and help the over 400,000 Americans who suffer the devastating effects of Multiple Sclerosis.

The February 28, 2005, tournament will be a 1:00pm shotgun start, 4-man best ball. Entry fees are $100 per golfer, $400 per foursome. Entry fee includes green fees, range balls, cart rental, lunch and a pass for one free RTJ short course of your choice and a chance to win some great prizes. Prizes include a boat, a car and an ATV.

Can MS be cured? The answer is no-not yet. The cause and cure of MS are the subject of intensive worldwide research. Over 300 research grants and fellowships are funded by the National MS Society each year. Knowledge about MS is growing quickly and many clinical trials are in progress.
