Jeff Von Eschen retained as golf course superintendent at Duran

Duran Golf Club is pleased to announce Jeff Von Eschen has been retained as the Golf Course Superintendent. Jeff has previously been employed with Duran as the Assistant Superintendent from the initial phases of construction and grow-in of the golf course. Jeff played a vital role in the development, maintenance, conditioning, and success of the turf grass operation to this point.

As Superintendent at Duran, Jeff's responsibilities will include overseeing the maintenance of all turf grass areas, native areas, common areas, the grounds at both clubhouses, supervision of the 20 person maintenance team, and fiscal responsibility for the maintenance operation..

Prior to employment at Duran, Jeff spent 15 years in the golf industry at various clubs in Florida and New York. Jeff received his degree in horticulture and landscape architecture while attending Southern University of New York, Morrisville, before relocating to Florida on 1997.
