Ron Weaver elected president of Meadia Heights Golf Club

Dec. 31, 2004 – Ron Weaver, one of Lancaster County's best known and respected golfers, was elected president of Meadia Heights Golf Club, effective January 1, 2005.

Ron is both a successful golfer and entrepreneur. He has won multiple local, county, and regional tournaments in his 28-year golfing career. Meadia Heights has enjoyed excellent success in the past year in staffing and repositioning its offering to the Lancaster County golfing community. The addition of David Haines to the dining and beverage operation has produced an excellent dining experience. Now the addition of Ron Weaver as president will keep the club focused on both quality dining and quality golf.

Weaver stated, "I've been a member of Meadia Heights for over 20 years and I am humbled to have been selected president of the club I grew up in. My personal goal is to make sure we continue our recent success by expanding both our golfing and social memberships. We are looking to attract both competitive golfers and beginners, as well as social and corporate members. We have an excellent, challenging course, which continues to be maintained in a condition that is unsurpassed by any course in the area."

He added, "Also, our very generous reciprocal program makes us truly unique in Lancaster County. We offer excellent value to prospective members."
