Australian Triple Crown Short Course Championships to begin

Many of the world’s top short course golfers will descend on Sydney next month for the first event in the Australian Triple Crown Short Course Championships. This opening event is to be played at the Terrey Hills Par 3 Course at the Terry Hills Golf Club and it will see Sydneysiders of all levels of golfing prowess battling it out with overseas and interstate contestants to see who is the Australian Matchplay Champion in Pitch and Putt.

The event is being backed by Sydney’s Vision Golf which is the brainchild of well known golfing identities Wayne and Bill Bosley whose company Bosgolf is leading the way in golf ball research and production in this country.

In Europe, Pitch and Putt is played competitively by many leading amateur golfers as it tends to sharpen their short game skills under intense competition. This trend is now slowly catching on in Australia.
