Dec. 29, 2004 – Golf carts at Disney's Eagle Pines and Osprey Ridge Golf Courses at the Walt Disney World Resort are now equipped with Global Positioning System (GPS) devices to help clients master the property's 99 holes of golf.
These high-tech computers offer detailed 3-D renderings of golf holes and course features, measure exact distances from the golf ball to the flagstick, and at the touch of a button, share tips from professionals with helpful strategies for each hole.
The new GPS devices will enable golf enthusiasts to have the perfect caddy every round. Moreover, clients adding-on Disney's Great Golf Escape package are entitled to one round of golf every night, an electric golf cart, range balls, one 30-minute private golf lesson, and much more.
