WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- The ADT Championship is proud to announce National City has signed on as the title sponsor of the Fourth Annual Million Dollar Shootout. The finals of the National City Million Dollar Shootout will be held November 18 at Trump International Golf Club following the final round of the ADT Championship; all proceeds from the National City Million Dollar Shootout will benefit local charities, including Home Safe and Take Stock in Children.
“At National City, we take great pride in supporting the communities where we live and work,” said Jay Shearouse, National City’s president in Southeast Florida. “Not only is the National City Million Dollar Shootout an exciting event, but it also plays a critical role in helping many local charities who make such a big difference in our community.”
Fans can qualify for this year’s National City Million Dollar Shootout by either securing a spot at an official qualifying site or during the week of the ADT Championship November 13 - 18. Charities are chosen as official qualifying sites and run a “closest to the pin” qualifier during their annual fundraising golf tournaments. The winner represents the charity at the finals of the National City Million Dollar Shootout. Prizes will be awarded to the top 15 qualifiers based on their closest to the hole shot with $1 Million going to the qualifier who shoots a hole-in-one.

The 2007 ADT Championship will feature a $1,550,000 purse with the winner taking home a $1 million paycheck, the largest first-place prize in the history of women's golf. The ADT Championship will also feature three days of playoffs, with a cut after 36 holes. Players start with a fresh scorecard for the third round, which ends with another cut to the top-eight players. A final-day shoot-out with the remaining players will have them, again, starting with a fresh scorecard for their chance at the $1 million winner’s check.
