October’s Green Links from EDGE features a case study from Crosswater Club in Sunriver Ore. -- "Little Deschutes River Restoration and Fish Habitat Enhancement at Crosswater."
More than a decade ago an ecological restoration project for the Little Deschutes River was completed at Crosswater Club. The project exemplifies coordination with government resource agencies and the Crosswater Club Superintendent, Jim Ramey, CGCS for environmental stewardship. Today trout species, beaver, river otters, and other wildlife enjoy the restored river system.
Supporting articles from Green Links host David Phipps, GCSAA Class A superintendent, and guest columnist Ted Wise, fisheries biologist from the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, are also on Green Links from EDGE.
