If you will be in Montreal during the Presidents Cup, LG Electronics invites you to check out its charity golf hole, right in the heart of the downtown area, and built specially for golf fans.
It's called the LG Montreal Open and we're using this spectacle to raise money for Breakfast Club of Quebec, a children's charity that provides breakfast to 15,000 kids every day. The 70-yard hole will be open to the public to try and hit a hole in one on Wed. Sept. 26th, Thurs. Sept. 27th and Fri. Sept. 28th.
At noon on Wed. Sept. 26th Canadian PGA golfer Stephen Ames will be teeing it up for charity before signing autographs and hanging out with fans for the afternoon. Fans can also watch Ames defend his LG Skins Game title at the spectacular new Celebrity Course at Indian Wells, California, on Nov. 24th and 25th. Ames will be competing against Skins Game legend Fred Couples, Masters Champion Zach Johnson and long-hitting Brett Wetterich for a purse of $1 million.
Until then, the LG Montreal Open promises to be the most fun of the festivities in Montreal this coming week, and a most unique photo or broadcast opportunity in the heart of downtown Montreal. You can drop in and ask for me, or let me know if you want to pre-arrange a time to hit a ball.
