La Jolla Club Golf Company shows explosive growth

VISTA, CA. – Dec. 24, 2004 – La Jolla Club Golf Company has announced that the company has experienced explosive growth during the three month period from September 2004 through November, 2004 as compared to the same period in 2003.

“Sales are up 38% over last year at this time,” commented Paul Herber, President, La Jolla Club Golf Company. “We’re very pleased to be experiencing this growth during a time when the industry in general is pretty stagnant. We’re poised for a strong holiday period and a strong first quarter in 2005.”

The company attributes its recent success to a significant growth in its junior club business, an increase in trade acceptance of the Hybrid Knife and Knife Irons and a stronger level of distribution.

In 2005, La Jolla Club will be celebrating the 10th Anniversary of its Junior Clubs. “Our Junior Clubs have always been a significant part of our business,” continued Herber. “In fact, Snoopyä is the #1 selling brand in junior golf and features seven custom sizes for ages 2 - 17. As a celebration of the anniversary, we will be offering new programs and promotions during 2005 and are looking forward to continued growth in this segment of the industry.”

Ls Jolla Club introduced the user-friendly Knife Hybrid and unique Knife Irons in September of this year. Both new products feature La Jolla Club’s patented three-blade technology and have been receiving positive reviews since their introduction.

GolfRave.com recently reviewed both the Knife Irons and the Knife Hybrid and here’s what they had to say, “We tested a set of Knife Irons with a regular flex steel shaft and were blown away by the way that they hit. We tried the 21-degree Knife Hybrid with a regular flex graphite shaft and were stunned. First, the balance on this club is exceptional; it swings easy with minimal power loss. The feel at contact is also amazingly solid and tight.”

La Jolla Club Golf Company, a Vista, California-based golf equipment company, designs, manufactures and markets premium men’s, juniors and ladies golf clubs, including The Knife Fairway Metal Woods, Super Flex Junior Sets, Triple Notch Junior Sets, Snoopy 1st Real Clubs, and Lady Accent golf clubs.
