Dec. 22, 2004 – Networking, a discussion on the “10 commandments of business golf” and even a chance to swing golf clubs are all part of a three-hour seminar being presented by the Seattle Chapter of Executive Women’s Golf Association.
The program, which is open to the public, is set for Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2005 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at CXO Golf Academy in Bellevue. Featured speaker Randy Broad, owner and president of Bellevue-based CXO Golf Academy and Opal Enterprises, will talk about understanding – and overcoming – the gender gap in business and on the course. He’ll also offer tips for using golf to cultivate relationships with clients, vendors, co-workers and prospects.
The event, which costs $30, has three segments, beginning with a reception and networking hour from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. The seminar session, led by Randy Broad, will take place from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. During the final hour, participants will be able to experience the golf facility at CXO Golf Academy, which includes 13 indoor hitting stations, a 9-hole putting green, computerized swing and video technology analysis, demo clubs and custom golf club fitting services.
Information on the Executive Women’s Golf Association, including a preview of the Seattle Chapter’s 2005 calendar of activities, will also be available. Registration deadline for the “How to Use Golf for Business” seminar is Monday, Jan. 17. Since seating is limited, reservations are fist-come/first served and subject to space availability. The $30 fee includes light refreshments and handout materials. A reservation form is online at www.ewgaseattle.org. CXO Golf Academy is located at 13434 NE 16th Street in Bellevue.
