Dec. 22, 2004 – From January 4th 2005, golfers on the Gold Coast will have even more reason to play one of Queensland's leading golf courses with Brookwater Golf Club launching its complimentary shuttle bus service.
Bridging the gap between Broadbeach and Brookwater, the bus service will commence operation on January 4, 2005, picking up golfers from Conrad Jupiters Hotel and delivering them to the 18-hole Greg Norman championship golf course.
Brookwater Golf Club Marketing Executive Kirsty Whiteman said that the introduction of the shuttle bus service was in response to growing demand from the Gold Coast market. "We have received many requests for a service of this kind, so we are pleased to be able to meet the needs of golfers on the Gold Coast," Ms Whiteman said.
"The shuttle bus service is designed to make it as easy as possible for Gold Coast visitors and residents to play one of the top ten courses in the country," she said.
"We look forward to hosting golfers from the Gold Coast on our award-winning course which was recently voted Australia's Best Public Access Course by the readers of respected golfing publication Golf Australia.
"Initially the shuttle bus service will operate on return transfer trips 3 days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with a view to increasing days of operation in the future," she said.
