Play golf in poker style with the help of Internet

LAS VEGAS, NV. – Dec. 22, 2004– BEKEEN eWorld LLC, a Las Vegas company, has signed a long-term agreement to develop, manage and market all World Series of Golf Inc Internet based business activities.

World Series of Golf Inc. (WSG), also of Las Vegas, has introduced a new multi-million dollar golf tournament format that combines the excitement of golf with one of the world’s most popular card games...Poker. It is designed to give non-professional golfers a fair opportunity to compete in a world-class golf event where they can win big money playing against equal or better golfers, even professionals. The equalizing element comes from an exciting hole-by-hole bet-and-play format that is modeled after the game of poker.

The Internet will play a major role in both the promotion of these million dollar tournaments and the operation of the events. Golfers wishing to play in World Series of Golf Open events will need to register at the WSG website and bid on one of the 432 Entry Positions. Successful bidders will ante-up the US$10,000 tournament buy-in fee for a chance of winning a share in a prize purse of over $3.8 million dollars!

The Entry Ticket eAuction concept was the brainchild of Brian Keenan, founder and owner of BEKEEN eWorld. These tournaments will be of interest to millions of golfers around the world, since its poker style betting format opens the window of opportunity to any golfer with a 10 or lower handicap. Keenan says, “The eAuction is the only way to give every golfer, who thinks he can win, a chance to play in a tournament!”

With a $1 Million dollar first place prize and 1-in-4 odds to recover your buy-in, Keenan expects thousands of golfers to go after the limited number of entry positions. Lots of approximately 30 entry tickets will be auctioned off weekly for 12 weeks starting four months from the tournament. Keenan expects bidding to be very active in these tickets as the word of the World Series of Golf poker style tournament spreads around the world.

The first tournament is being scheduled for Niagara Falls, Canada’s gaming and golf capital, for early June 2005 followed by a Fall event in Las Vegas. The eAuction for the Niagara event will open February 1st with registration expected to start January 1st. To keep kids and nuisance bidders out of the auction, interested golfers will pay a small registration fee to enter the auction and Keenan has sponsors that will provide free promotional goods to each registrant.

A visit to the World Series of Golf Inc. website at www.WorldSeriesofGolfInc.com is needed to learn how this tournament is run and see how the $3.8M prize money purse is divided amongst the 108 winners!
