MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- Martin's PGA TOUR Superstore, with stores in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach, will be holding free golf clinics for women on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the summer. The two-phase program is designed to help every skill level, from beginner to intermediate.
Clinics are being offered at both the Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach locations of Martin’s PGA TOUR Superstore. More information is available online at www.pgatoursuperstore.com or by calling the Myrtle Beach location at 843-839-4653 or the North Myrtle Beach location at 843-272-6030.
Participants graduate to phase two after they attend all four of the phase one courses..
The first fifteen minutes of each session will cover rules, etiquette, and golf course layout. The remainder of each session will detail golf swing fundamentals relating to four main types of shots: iron play, putting, chipping, and hitting woods. Upon completion of phase one, women will advance on to phase two. Phase two will focus on the specific fundamentals of playing a round of golf, giving participants a distinct awareness of the game. Women will learn about set make-up, club fitting, club selection for certain shots, pitching, golf course management, and the mental game.
“We have designed a two phase program, created with lesson content to address every aspect of the game of golf,” said Pat Graw, general manager of the North Myrtle Beach Martin’s PGA TOUR Superstore. “We believe that this format will take beginning golfers to the next level very quickly.”
