Sun Mountain announces introducing its new Hug Carry System

MISSOULA, Mont. -- Sun Mountain continues to be the defining force in the
evolution of the golf bag with the introduction of the new HUG(tm) Carry
System that transfers up to 60% of the weight of the clubs from golfers'
shoulders to their waists. HUG Technology works in conjunction with dual bag
straps allowing the bag to be shouldered as usual and then for the HUG Carry
System to be simply positioned around the waist. Using the HUG Carry System
transfers the majority of the weight off of the shoulders which results in
reduced upper body fatigue and more upright posture. Superlight 3.5 with HUG
Technology is in stores now at a full-suggested retail of $199.99. For the
retailer nearest you, call 800-227-9224 or visit www.sunmountain.com.

Research by backpack safety expert, Ralph Kester, showed that golfers
carrying bags with HUG Technology walk with their heads forward 4% from
vertical, while those carrying without HUG Technology walked with heads
forward 25%. The further forward the head tilts, the more weight the neck
and shoulder muscles have to support. The closer the neck is to straight
vertical, the better the weight is dispersed throughout the entire body.

The HUG Carry System is produced by Sun Mountain under license with Meyer
Design Group. Notable users include Terry McNamara, caddy for LPGA Hall of
Famer Annika Sorenstam.

"The beauty of HUG Technology is the effectiveness and simplicity of the
system," explained Sun Mountain President, Ed Kowachek. "There are no belts,
buckles or snaps, the HUG Arm simply fits around your waist in one movement.
It can remove 10 - 15 lbs. from your shoulders, which makes a game improving
difference."

Need a third-party endorsement? How about two? Superlight 3.5 with HUG
Technology is the only bag to receive the "Editors' Choice" award in the
2007 Golf Digest Hot List and has been awarded "Editor's Choice" by Golf
Illustrated.

The HUG Carry System consists of a "U" shaped HUG Arm in sizes corresponding
to waist size that, when not in use, sits tight against the bag, framing the
bag's hip pad. To enlist the HUG Carry System one merely has to position the
HUG Arm around the waist. Sizes include small to large covering waist sizes
from 28" to 40".

Superlight 3.5 with HUG Technology is a new performance enhancing carry
system built onto the same great bag that in 2001 broke the ultra light
barrier as a full-featured, 3-1/2 pound golf bag. Superlight 3.5 includes a
built-in top collar handle that provides a convenient spot to grab when
removing the bag from the shoulder, top-molded stand attachment for
stability, and patented Roller-Bottom stand mechanism. The bag includes a
six-way top with full-length dividers; seven pockets including a full-length
clothing pocket, velour lined valuables pouch, and water bottle pouch; and
Sun Mountain's Dual X-Strap system for balanced carrying in an
easy-on/easy-off design.
