“We’re proud to be celebrating our 10th season on television,” said Rolfing. “To commemorate our show’s anniversary, we have an exceptional line-up of shows including a special ‘Rewind’ segment that will take you on a nostalgic trip back in time and show you our favorite interviews and topics as well as MY VIEW which will preview the Aloha Season tournaments in our first few weeks.”

In 1995, Golf Hawaii began as a half-hour show sponsored by AT&T and broadcast locally in Hawaii. From 1996 through 1998, Golf Hawaii aired each year on ESPN. Since 1999, Golf Hawaii has been broadcast by The Golf Channel annually. Golf Hawaii continues to be the only nationally televised golf program of its kind featuring a single destination – HAWAII.

Rolfing who first made his mark in television as an ESPN golf announcer and now works for NBC Sports, will host 13 new editions of Golf Hawaii each week from January through March with four replays of each program airing as well.

The December 21st show will feature the following segments:

TOUR View: Featuring, PHIL MICKELSON & Grand Slam Review

Phil Mickelson came into the 2004 PGA Grand Slam of Golf as the Masters champion little did he know that the end of the year would be as good as the beginning. 2004 was an awesome year for Phil and Rolfing had a chance to talk with him about his year and his victory at the Grand Slam.

Rewind: Christmas Special 1997 – Championship of Hawaii

This special Rewind segment takes a look at one of Golf Hawaii’s favorite shows ever… a one hour Christmas Special that aired in 1997. Our two guests that year were without a doubt the two highest profile athletes in the world …Tiger Woods and Michael Jordan. But the segment everyone loved was a three-hole made-for-TV match between Joe Pesci and Bill Murray for the Championship of Hawaii. Tune in to view this hysterical match.
