PEBBLE BEACH, Fla. -- For the first time, broadcast-quality video and audio of the Wal-Mart First Tee Open at Pebble Beach is to be provided by the tournament for use by television, radio, internet and print media. It will debut Monday, Aug. 6, with footage of the Wal-Mart First Tee Open Media Day, featuring defending champion Scott Simpson.

Digital video is to be provided in both 4:3 and 16:9 format, with audio available for used as desired.

Media Day is to include the following scheduled guests:
Haley Andreas, junior contestant, The First Tee of Monterey County
Chuck Salby, Regional Director, Wal-Mart
Cathy Wagner, West Region Manager of The First Tee
Ollie Nutt, president/CEO of the Monterey Peninsula Foundation
During the Champions Tour event being played at the Pebble Beach Golf Links the week of Aug. 27-Sept. 2, the tournament website ( www.thefirstteeopen.com ) will provide a link to digital video of daily play and post-round interviews, featuring the leaders in both the professional and pro-junior categories. Special requests for video of junior golfers can be handled on a limited basis and video can be delivered via the internet, as well.
