Lyle enters the Scottish Hall

Dec. 18, 2004 – Two-time major champion Sandy Lyle has been inducted into the Scottish Sport Hall of Fame in a ceremony at the Royal Museum in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Lyle is best known for capturing the 1985 Open Championship at Royal St. George's in England and winning the 1988 Masters at Augusta National. Lyle was joined by three other inductees in the Class of 2004.
