Nike Golf’s K.J. Choi demonstrated impressive shotmaking to outlast a strong field and capture his second PGA Tour win in five weeks at the AT&T National. Choi’s win has placed Nike Golf in a tie for the lead with most driver, fairway woods, and iron wins on the PGA Tour so far this season. Since switching to the Nike Sumo² driver in 2006, Choi has earned $4.3 million on the PGA Tour. Three of Choi’s six PGA Tour victories, were won with the Nike Sumo² Driver.
Choi Highlights
· Choi’s birdie on the 15th hole extended his lead to two strokes. On 17, Choi holed a shot from a greenside bunker to gain a three-stroke lead and help secure his victory.
· Choi averaged 309 yards off the tee and posted a 73.2% rating in driving accuracy using his Nike Sumo² Driver and Nike One Platinum Ball.
· Using his Nike Blades, Choi averaged 75% in greens in regulation.
· His AT&T National victory propelled him to fourth on the 2007 PGA Tour money list.
